Milieu Children’s Center provides a holistic approach to pediatric habilitation and development. Our team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and educators work with families to identify and implement positive treatment plans that consider the whole child and his/her unique family dynamic and goals. Our clinicians are well versed in cognitive, social-emotional, gross motor, fine motor, play, speech and language development of children birth to 10 years of age.
Through individual therapy and our group programs, children and families at Milieu discover the joy of learning as they progress towards their maximum potential.
To provide the right Milieu; an environment rich with nurturing people, appropriate physical spaces, social opportunities and events in which the child and family thrive.
At Milieu, therapy is interactive and focuses on your child’s global development. We recognize that play is central to a young child’s learning process and aim to use their strengths and interests to facilitate growth. Therapy sessions are evidence-based and use a combination of child-lead and adult-lead intervention models. We strive to help parents and caregivers understand their child’s unique development in order to maximize interactions within daily routines. Together we will create an individualized growth plan that may address:
